Privacy Statement
What personal data this website collects, why, who processes it, how long we keep it, and your rights under UK GDPR. In plain English — because this site only really collects one thing: the message you choose to send us.
1. Who we are
This website, thecloudplatform.co.uk, is operated by The Cloud Platform Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 10685442), registered office 36 Grosvenor Crescent, London, NW9 9DA, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described here — we decide what is collected, why, and what happens to it. You can reach us on +44 20 3976 9020 or via the contact form.
2. What we collect and why
Contact-form messages. When you use the contact form, we collect the name and email address you enter and the message you write. We use them for one purpose only: to read and reply to your enquiry.
Lawful basis: legitimate interest (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — responding to an enquiry you chose to send us, balanced firmly in your favour because you initiated the contact and control exactly what you include.
3. What we do not collect
- No advertising or tracking. There are no advertising or analytics trackers on this site, and we do not build profiles of visitors or track you across other websites.
- No payment data. Nothing is sold or paid for on this site, so we take no payment information here.
- We never sell your data. Ever.
4. Who processes your information
We keep suppliers to the minimum. In connection with this website:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and the small service that receives contact-form messages. When you submit the form, your message is transmitted through Cloudflare, stored in our Cloudflare database so we can handle your enquiry, and a notification is sent to our company inbox through Cloudflare Email Routing so we know you have written. Cloudflare processes data across its global edge network.
If we ever add another supplier that processes personal data, we will update this Statement before it starts.
5. International transfers
Cloudflare operates a global network with points of presence in the UK, the EU and elsewhere, so the data we hold may be processed outside the UK. For those transfers we rely on Cloudflare's data processing terms, which incorporate the safeguards UK GDPR recognises for transfers abroad (Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum).
6. How long we keep it
We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any reasonable follow-up, and then we delete them. You can ask us to delete your message sooner at any time.
7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of the information we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable form. We respond within one month. To exercise any of these, contact us on +44 20 3976 9020 or through the contact form.
If you are unhappy with how we handle your information you can complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office, at ico.org.uk — though we would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.
8. Cookies
This site uses only the functional and security cookies its hosting platform, Cloudflare, needs to serve the site safely. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other sites — which is why you do not see a cookie consent banner: we set nothing that requires one.
9. Changes to this Statement
We will update this Statement when something changes — a new supplier or a new feature. The version number and date below will move forward when we do.
